Is the 2026 Acura Integra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Integra is presented as a quality-focused car that blends comfort, utility, and driving satisfaction, and it carries a strong expert safety score of 7/10. Its standard driver-assistance suite is broad, and the car’s refined highway behavior and composed ride support the case for everyday dependability.

The performance setup is also straightforward: the standard turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder delivers 200 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque, and the available manual transmission adds a more engaging ownership experience for buyers who want it. The infotainment system is improved for 2026, with a faster processor and standard wireless smartphone integration.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the car’s appeal depends heavily on the trim and transmission you choose, so you should make sure the specific example you buy matches the equipment and condition you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Acura Integra?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s equipment matches the trim you want, especially if you are comparing base cars with better-equipped versions. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the infotainment system, driver-assistance features, and overall interior condition, since those are central to the Integra’s value proposition.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base cars get the simpler setup, while A-Spec models add a new exterior body kit with gloss-black detailing, black-painted 18-inch wheels, ambient lighting, and revised interior trim. The A-Spec with Technology adds even more equipment, including a head-up display and upgraded audio, so the base trim is the one with the biggest feature gap.
• Powertrain: The lineup uses a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 200 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque. The standard CVT is the default transmission, while the A-Spec with Technology can be had with a six-speed manual and automatic downshift rev-matching.
• Safety package: Every Integra comes with AcuraWatch, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard, while the A-Spec with Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.
• Infotainment: All models now get a 9-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. The A-Spec with Technology adds SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, Alexa Built-in, AcuraLink connected services with Wi-Fi hotspot access, a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D system, and a 5.3-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The test data notes 26.5 mpg on the evaluation loop, and the official estimate referenced in the review is 30 mpg combined.

Which 2026 Acura Integra trim should I buy?

The 2026 Acura Integra is offered in 4 trim levels: base, A-Spec, A-Spec with Technology, and Type S.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Integra formula with the standard 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging, and AcuraWatch safety tech. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the car’s liftback practicality and premium feel.
• A-Spec: This trim adds a more distinctive look with the new exterior body kit, gloss-black detailing, black 18-inch wheels, ambient lighting, and revised interior trim. It is the best-value choice if you want the Integra’s style upgrade without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• A-Spec with Technology: This is the most well-rounded trim for many shoppers because it layers in the head-up display, upgraded audio, connected services, parking sensors, and the available six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching. It also adds adaptive damping suspension, which improves the ride and handling balance.
• Type S: This is the performance-focused version, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine making 320 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, plus exclusive dynamic tuning and a full hardware upgrade. Choose it if you want the most serious driving experience in the lineup.

Every Integra includes AcuraWatch, and the A-Spec Technology trim adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

Every 2026 Integra comes standard with AcuraWatch, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard, while the A-Spec with Technology adds front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.
