Is the 2025 Audi A6 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A6 stands out for blending understated luxury with a strong technology story. For you, that means a premium sedan that aims for quiet competence rather than flashy styling, with a conservative design that tends to age well.

It also brings a mix of refinement, practicality, and available performance, along with spaciousness, standard all-wheel drive, and a powerful engine. At the same time, the fuel economy is disappointing and the infotainment system has been criticized for being poorly executed, so the appeal is strongest if you value comfort, traction, and a premium feel over standout efficiency or cutting-edge interface polish.

33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Audi A6 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A6 stands out for blending understated luxury with a strong technology story. Its conservative design tends to age well, and its appeal is rooted in refinement and long-term usability rather than drama.

For you, that means the A6 can make sense if you want a premium sedan that feels composed and familiar over time. Long-term ownership risk is still worth weighing carefully, especially if you plan to keep the car for many years and want to avoid expensive surprises.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s past matches the seller’s claims. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment that could be costly to repair. Focus on overall condition, infotainment behavior, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a well-kept sedan from one that has been neglected.

What is the 2025 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $46,139 sits slightly below last year's $53,884.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get in at a better price today. If you buy carefully and keep the car clean and documented, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.37% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The redesign brings a fresh generation with updated architecture and broader capability.

The bottom line: The 2025 makes sense if you want the lower used price and a strong pool of clean listings. If you’re price-sensitive, it’s the better value path; if you want the newest redesign and can spend more, the 2026 is the alternative to compare.
