Is the 2025 Lexus RX a good car?

The 2025 Lexus RX stands out as a luxury SUV that prioritizes comfort, refinement, and long-term appeal over flashier performance claims. It is built around a reputation for comfort and reliability, and it also has a history of undercutting European rivals on list price, which helps if you want a premium badge without chasing the most expensive option in the segment.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX reliable?

The 2025 Lexus RX stands out as a luxury SUV that prioritizes comfort, refinement, and long-term appeal over flashier performance claims. Lexus has built the RX around a reputation for comfort and reliability, and that formula has helped make it a staple in the lineup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus RX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Put inspection priority on overall condition, maintenance records, and any signs of prior damage or uneven wear, since a clean history does not replace a careful pre-purchase check.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,338 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,000, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $53,013 sits slightly below last year's $54,354.

That suggests the RX is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating in the current market. For a future seller, the main takeaway is that strong comfort, reliability appeal, and premium-brand demand should help support resale, while the recent price softening means you should be realistic about near-term depreciation.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.47% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,724, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $53,013 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and fuel efficiency.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broad, well-stocked market to shop from. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better path because it delivers the RX’s core strengths for less money.
