Is the 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster a good car?

With no expert test-drive score provided here, the best read is that you should evaluate this model year through its market data and condition rather than a published expert rating. The current pricing and deal mix suggest a selective shopping environment, where the right car can still make sense if it matches your priorities.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s records match the listing details. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-priced example or one with limited documentation. Focus on overall condition, maintenance consistency, and any signs of cosmetic or mechanical wear that could affect long-term ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and disciplined.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 121 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $140,180, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster's resale value?

The current average of $151,610 sits slightly below last year's $169,981.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to create better entry points for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong condition, you’ll be in a better position to protect value later. The strongest resale outcomes will likely come from clean history, careful maintenance, and desirable equipment.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.81% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the current model year and you value a healthier mix of clean inventory and deal opportunities, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your main goal is to minimize purchase price, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-conditioned example rather than the newest one.
