How much does the 2018 Audi A6 cost?

There are 673 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi A6 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the interior design, the powerful performance, and the luxurious ride, and many also like the handling and feature content. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a midsize luxury sedan with a premium cabin and confident road manners. Is the 2018 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers describing the car as a luxurious ride they enjoy over time. The recurring praise for performance and interior quality suggests the A6 can be a car you feel good about living with for the long haul. For used buyers, the main risk is less about owner sentiment and more about making sure the specific car has been maintained well and checked carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi A6?

At 65.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and ownership patterns before you go any further. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus your condition check on the cabin electronics, infotainment operation, and overall cosmetic wear, since those areas matter most in a luxury sedan like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A6?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 673 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,157, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $16,167 sits slightly below last year's $17,720.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can work against you if you're selling soon. If you buy at today's average and hold the car well, you may be better positioned than a seller trying to exit after further depreciation. Strong condition, clean history, and good maintenance records should matter more if you want to protect future value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,246, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $16,167 average.
• It brings a redesigned cabin with a more advanced MMI system and updated driver-assistance tech.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the lower entry price and a strong satisfaction record. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer redesign, the 2019 is the better upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2018 remains the smarter buy.
